As references are stored online, it is possible for users to access their account from anywhere with internet access. EndNote Web also permits users to collaborate easily; sharing their EndNote Web folders with other EndNote Web users. RefMe - RefMe can be used to manage and organise references using projects to group them so that can be accessed on any device. It can create a bibliography in one of over 7,500 reference styles supported, including MLA, APA or Harvard.

RefWorks - RefWorks, (formerly Flow), is a new way to collect, manage and organize research papers and documents. You can read, annotate, organize, and cite your research as well as collaborate with friends and colleagues by sharing collections. RefWorks' drag and drop capability makes it easy and fast to upload documents and bibliographic metadata into your library. It allows easy import of references from the Summon search service.

Zotero - Zotero is a free is a free, easy-to-use tool to help you collect, organize, cite, and share your research sources. (Available for Firefox or as a desktop standalone application).
