ACM Digital Library - The ACM Library is a collection of bibliographic citations and abstracts of works published by ACM and other publishers. It contains over 750,000 citations from 3,000+ publishers, covering: books, journal articles, conference proceedings, doctoral dissertations, master's theses, and technical reports. Non-Members of the ACM and the general public can freely access the Basic Search and Browse options.Students can register for free full access.American Doctoral Dissertations - is a free database providing access to the only comprehensive record of dissertations accepted by American universities. The enhanced database includes more than 153,000 theses and dissertations in total, including 70,000 new citations for theses and dissertations from 1902 to the present, and may be searched by author, title, subject and university.
ASABE Technical Library - Search all recent technical documents published by the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers. This includes standards, journal articles, books and papers. Anyone can view the abstracts, but full text is only available to ASABE members.
BAILII - The British and Irish Legal Information Institute (BAILLII) provides access to freely available British and Irish public legal information. From the Irish perspective it provides access to Supreme Court and High Court cases as well as access to decisions of the Competition Authority and the Information Commissioner.
CARDI - Centre for Ageing Research and Development in Ireland (CARDI) hosts a database of researchers and research centres, their interests and present research projects. It also provides online access to hundreds of research publications.
Cardiff Index to Legal Abbreviations - Legal abbreviations can be a puzzle to both new students and experienced professionals. This web-based service, courtesy of Cardiff University, allows you to search for the meaning of abbreviations for English language legal publications, from the British Isles, the Commonwealth and the United States, including those covering international and comparative law. A wide selection of major foreign language law publications is also included. Publications from over 295 jurisdictions are featured in the Index. The database mainly covers law reports and law periodicals, but some legislative publications and major textbooks are also included. The Index is still under development.
ChemistryCentral - Chemistry Central is a new service publishing peer-reviewed open access research in chemistry, from the same team that created BioMed Central. The Chemistry Central website currently features chemistry-related articles published in BioMed Central journals. Chemistry Central is planning to launch further chemistry-specific journals in the near future, including Chemistry Central Journal, a new title covering all areas of chemistry.
CiteSeer - CiteSeer is a scientific literature digital library and search engine that focuses primarily on the literature in computer and information science. CiteSeer aims to improve the dissemination and feedback of the scientific literature and indexes PostScript and PDF research articles that are posted on the Web.
Cochrane Library - The Cochrane Library is a collection of electronic databases enabling medical professionals, researchers and government agencies access to a single source of reliable evidence about the effects of healthcare. All residents within the island of Ireland can access The Cochrane Library for free, thanks to funding for national provision by The Health Research Board in Dublin and The Research and Development Office in Belfast.
Collection of Computer Science Bibliographies - This is a collection of bibliographies of scientific literature in computer science from various sources, covering most aspects of computer science. The bibliographies are updated weekly and the collection currently contains over 2 million references, mostly to journal articles, conference papers and technical reports. Many references contain URLs to an online version of the paper.

NFDR - National Food Residue Database - The NFRD contains data on chemical residues and contaminants in foods in Ireland. PILOTS Database - The PILOTS database is an electronic index to the worldwide literature on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental-health consequences of exposure to traumatic events.
