| Summary |
This report presents the key themes arising from consultation undertaken by the Taskforce on Active Citizenship during July to October 2006. The Taskforce was established in April 2006 to advise the government on policy measures which could be undertaken to support, encourage and promote citizenship in Ireland. It has members from various strands of public and community life in Ireland as well as senior Irish government officials. The Taskforce is due to submit a final report in early 2007. |
